Description
The story of Hoffman begins in 1941 Los Angeles, when a fluorescent light salesman stopped in on the Mission Bell Radio Corporation to collect on a past due bill. In an interesting twist of fate, H. Leslie Hoffman ended up walking out of Mission Bell's headquarters as its new owner - and, just prior to the outbreak of WWII, the Hoffman Electronics Corporation began production of AM radios.
