Tierra Technology is a Bay Area based IT Consulting firm. We support clients throughout Silicon Valley, Marin County, and Oakland, as well as San Francisco. Founded in 2000 as TechHouse SF, Tierra Technology is a California S-Corp.Peter Priel founded Tierra Technology in 2000 out of a passion for technology and a desire to support the needs of local businesses. Peter has worked as an IT/IS specialist and manager for over 15 years. As Regional IT Manager at March First, he led a team supporting 400 users in a cross-platform (Windows and Mac) environment. As Director of IT at Cosmos Networks, he built a 50-node, server based Windows network. As Project Manager at Langtech Consulting, he managed infrastructures for 7 corporate clients with diverse network environments. As IT Manager at Anergen he supported 60 users and built a Wide Area Network integrating 3 remote offices. Peter holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.Wade Ambrose graduated from Lewis & Clark College (Portland, OR.) in 1995 with a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics and Graphic Arts. Since that time he has held the title of Senior Systems Engineer, Manager of IS, Webmaster, Systems Administrator, and Desktop Publisher. He completed his MCP in Windows XP, MCSA & MCSE certifications in October of 2003. He has supported several cutting edge technology companies, including Epocrates, Liquid Audio, and Ecast. In the past decade he has supported companies from 20 people up to 250 people in the lead role of Systems Engineer and IS Manager. Now as an IT consultant for Tierra Technology, he represents a significant source of technical knowledge and is a valuable resource for Tierra Technology clients. He also knows how to have fun, with interests that include extreme mountain biking, volleyball, sailing, and rugby.
