About Down to Earth Landscaping Services
Down To Earth Landscaping Services is a new company in the Lima area. Initially founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, our company provides landscape designs that complement our local ecology and therefore create beautiful self-sustaining, low-maintenance landscapes. Many of the plants used in the designs are native to the Mid-west. This means that they have been established in our area prior to European settlement in the United States. We know this seems more like a history lesson than an introduction to our company but this will help you understand the importance of our plant selection. These native plants that have had such a long history in this area are best adapted to our climate and wildlife. Many of the ornamental plants (plants from other countries or climates) that local landscape designers use require constant care, either in keeping them healthy or in control.
